datomo Secure Call - Adeya and Pretioso announce partnership for encrypted VoIP communication at CeBIT 2011
(Genf / Lüneburg / Hannover, 01.03.2011) Adeya and Pretioso announce their cooperation in the area of encryption of mobile communication at the CeBIT 2011 in Hannover today. The following product lines will be offered: „Adeya powered by datomo” for hosted solutions and „datomo Secure Call powered by Adeya” for solutions installed within a customer’s infrastructure.
Adeya offers a unique solution for worldwide secure mobile communication. Numerous business processes can be currently be enabled for mapping on mobile end devices. However, this leads to an increased risk of data misuse. A relevant safety-related gap often occurs at the interface between the secure internal server structure and mobile devices. This is the most likely location where malware or viruses can enter mobile end devices, often unnoticed via e-mail, pdf-attachments, internet, phone apps or even text messages, and consequently gain access to company data or communication.
datomo® Secure Call guarantees the encryption of voice communication and data services on all mobile devices and safeguards a company with the touch of a button against misuse of data. Swiss safety standards, on which the encrypted communication is based, guarantee the safety of business data - beyond the access of the state.
Adeya encrypts calls, text messages, e-mails, address books, calendars and all kind of data transfer on devices, supporting all popular devices including the new generation smartphones. This solution offers VoIP-integration and secure communication channels via issue of individual certificates through the datomo® Secure Call Gateway, which means that mobile devices communicate exclusively with the interconnected secure network. The decryption of data and communication on the device requires the Public Key of the mobile network Adeya’s solution convinces through simple OTA-installation of the security software on the devices including anti-malware, firewall and a fast remote data deletion.
Adeya is natively integrated into the interface of the smartphone and therefore enables an intuitive and user-friendly operation - as easy as a telephone. The integrated VoIP functionality offers - apart from the security features - high cost savings for users abroad.
“Apart from Adaya’s outstanding product characteristics it is of great importance to us that Adeya is a company that is solely subjected to Swiss legislation,” explains Klaus Düll, Managing Director of Pretioso. “Providers of encryption in the US and other countries nearly always have to disclose the encryption algorithm to the state - what is the purpose of such an encryption?” questions Düll in light of the fact that this is not the case in Switzerland. “We were delighted to follow the rapid growth of Pretioso and their datomo Mobility Suite over the past couple of years, reaching far beyond Germany,” explains Xavier Maumon, Managing Director Sales of Adeya. “Therefore Pretioso is the perfect partner for us in Germany, because we are aware of the synergy in relation to the integration into the powerful datomo Mobility Suite.”
